Downcut Spirals are best suited for sizing, jointing, grooving and dividing in hard plastics and aluminum materials for cutting of openings and contours and traveling plunge cuts using Z and X or Y axis. These spirals are solid carbide, and have a endmill end point type. They provide an excellent finish on the top of the material and a poor finish on the bottom of the material. High rates of feed and best quality thanks to helical geometry.
