Solid Tungsten Carbide Downcut Spiral with Chipbreaker Finish

Downcut Chipbreakers are best suited for sizing, jointing, grooving and dividing in plywood, raw or laminated materials for cutting of openings and contours and traveling plunge cuts using Z and X or Y axis. The chipbreaker finisher design applies a lower cutting pressure when cutting plywood to create a better cut quality. These spirals are solid carbide, and have a endmill end point type. They provide an excellent finish on the top of the material and a poor finish on the bottom of the material. High rates of feed and best quality thanks to helical geometry.
